Twelfth Annual Loudoun YouthFest
Took place in June 2017 at The Barn at One Loudoun
This event for Loudoun teens organized by Loudoun teens featuring live local teen bands, interactive exhibits, dancers and other stage acts. Exhibits focus on healthy living, after school programs, community organizations, belonging and diversity. The afternoon/evening closed with a performance by national headliner band CRUISR. Fun for all ages, included games, food, prizes, and much more! Loudoun YouthFest is a collaboration between Loudoun Youth Inc., Loudoun County PRCS and the Youth Advisory Council. Loudoun Battle of the Bands
Four Battles for local youth performers, from January through April. In 2017, the winners of the final Battle performed on stage at Loudoun YouthFest 2017 before the headliner. The 2017 finalists from the Battles of the Bands:
- 1st place: Never Born to Follow
- 2nd place: 10 Degrees Colder
- Fan Favorite: Stone Cold
Other local teen bands that performed at YouthFest 2017: Cast Another Stone, Kathleen, Matthew Cahill, Never Born to Follow, Stone Cold, Suburbia, 10 Degrees Colder, The Shallow Roots, Witches Brew.
In 2018, Loudoun Battle of the Bands will feature 4 competitions from January through April, offering cash prizes up to $500. Find more information at Loudoun Battle of the Bands.
